Dan Ransom in Heaps Canyon: Best Zion Canyon Ever?

As my feet hit the boulders above emerald pool, my first thought was “best canyon ever?”

I don't know. It's a silly question. But there is no question - that canyon is darn good.

After spending the last month in near freezing weather in Alaska, it was time to get reacquainted with the warm weather of Southern Utah.
