Main Fork of Leprechaun Canyon, North Wash
Love these beautiful fall mornings - especially since "early" means 9 a.m. Destinations for the day were West Leprechaun Canyon for the Arhart clan, and the Main Fork of Leprechaun Canyon for Dave and me. We hiked into the mouth of Leprechaun Canyon and then up the buttress.
Rodger-dodger - always having too much fun in a canyon.
Upper ends of the Leps - West Lep in front of us here, and Main Lep over that ridge/buttress to the right.
Lower end of the Leps - West immediately below us, Main over the sunlit ridge, East over the next ridge.

After the troops had descended, Davey and I re-worked the anchor so that A: the two deadmen were close to equalized and B. the rapid link reached to over the lip, to minimize rope grooves. (And yes, two official ZAC canyon guides in a canyon = a lot of anchor rebuilding).
